About Joan

As with all good adventures, you learn so much about yourself along the way that by the time you come home you’ve undergone your very own renaissance. 

Joan is a sensitive, intuitive and thoughtful guide through the complex and subtly textured world of seasonal color analysis, helping you navigate each step with her expert hand and reassuring good humor.

With over a decade of experience, Joan has become renowned for her skilful creation of the seasonal color palette, succeeding in placing her clients in the correct seasonal colors where often others have failed. Joan is a master at understanding and explaining the nuances of color quality, intensity and value. She has perfected the art of seeing not just what’s on the surface, but tapping into the energy of who each person was meant to me.

With the advent of so many “simplified” color systems currently on the market, Joan continues to be committed to excellence and to training and mentoring others who, like herself, have a passion for doing this work at the highest level.

Joan was mentored by the late Cathy Williams and received a certification from the Image and Color International and The StyleCore Institute. Joan’s passionate about passing on the legacy of Suzanne Caygill and helping her students excel in the time- honored tradition of Seasonal Color Analysis.
